“Out beyond the ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there”

— Rumi

Mark has enjoyed the blessing of studying closely with a breadth of masters representing: Spirit guidance, religious leadership from numerous faiths, Shamans, indigenous medicine practitioners, Eastern medicine elders, and practitioners of Conscious Evolution.

Some of his deepest awakenings have come from practicing with:

Jesus Christ - the Son of God, whose coming as the Messiah was prophesied in the Hebrew Bible (called the Old Testament in Christianity) and chronicled in the New Testament.

Ralph Metzner - the interfaith Shamanic divinations teacher, Dean of the California Institute of Integral Studies, pioneering psychedelics researcher since 1960, and author of 17 books;

Dhyani Ywahoo - the Cherokee medicine woman and founder of Sunray Meditation Society;

Roshi Joan Halifax - Abbot of the Upaya Zen Center of Santa Fe, founder of the Ojai Foundation and pioneering teacher for end-of-life care;

Joseph Campbell - the comparative mythology and comparative religions master;

Ram Dass - the author of “Be Here Now”, trailblazer in bringing Hinduism to the West, and pioneer in psychedelics for soul evolution and trauma release;

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama – the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism and unifying leader for the state of Tibet;

Yogi Amrit Desai “Gurudev” - the founder of Kripalu and 1960’s pioneer of bringing yoga to the West;

Barbara Marx Hubbard – the visionary who in the 1950’s saw a quantum leap in consciousness accompanying our forthcoming exponential technologies as she created the worldview of “Conscious Evolution”;

Beth Ann Fisher - the mystic, soul guide and metaphysics master;

Ken Wilbur – the philosopher and creator of “Integral Theory,” which explains how every form of knowledge and experience fit together coherently;

Rumi – the poet, mystic and Islamic scholar;

Padmasambhava “Guru Rinpoche” – the 8th century master that transmitted Buddhism into Tibet

Mark also gives thanks for dozens of other guides along his journey, and so many dear friends that held him, as his soul awakened to his full potential and purpose for being. In this respect, instrumental roles were played by his sister, Elena Crippen, and his old friends Dave McNeish and Paul Temple.

“My life is my message.”
