Mark has specialized in disrupting business-as-usual for over 30 years. Since 1990, he has been a pioneer in building “business as a force for good,” “conscious capitalism,” “impact investing,” Cleantech and the “triple-bottom-line.” His passion is to bring regenerative, healing and sustainable models to greater scale in our world.
In 2020, Mark was honored as one of the “Top 100 American Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behavior,” by the organization Trust Across America. He had previously received this prominent award in 2010.
Mark was Babson College’s Entrepreneur-in-Residence for five years, a Senior Fellow in Social Innovation for 3 years, and a Board of Overseers member for nine years.

Mark is the Founder of LifeGuides®. The mission of LifeGuides® is to "grow a platform for sharing life experience, wisdom and empathy" - with the goal to positively impact the lives of 1B people within 15 years. LifeGuides® is modernizing human support and human connection, which is foundational to well-being.
LifeGuides is defining a new market in employee wellbeing called: Life Guidance Services. LifeGuides offers a community of trained, experienced and Certified Guides, who provide guidance in 400+ topics of Personal Growth, Lifelong Learning, or Life Challenges.
In 2019, Peter Diamandis awarded Mark Donohue and LifeGuides the Global Grand 1st Prize for the Impact Challenge from Singularity University and the exponential leadership organization Abundance 360.

In 1996, Mark was the Founder of Social Capital Partners, which was the first investment bank focused solely on the LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) space. Social Capital was a full NASDAQ Member Firm, which fractionally co-owned the NASDAQ prior to it going public.

In 2001 Mark was a pioneer and a key player in the growth of the Cleantech sector, whose principles are now massively adopted by businesses worldwide. In 2008, Mark was appointed the first-ever "Clean Technology Entrepreneur-in-Residence" at a global educational institution: Babson College.

Spirituality and Healing
Mark has been active for 30+ years in interfaith organizations, has apprenticed with many masters and has received certification in Socially Engaged Buddhism from the Upaya Zen Center of Santa Fe.
